Motors Gate Sponsoring Muhālib Al-‘ibl Festival 2024

Kicked off in the region of Jazan on May 9, 2024. Motors Gate is the official agent for Maxus and BAIC cars in Saudi Arabia, and it is one of the companies under the Salem Saleh Babgi Trading Company. The festival featured various shows to introduce and promote the cultural significance of camels. A large number of camel owners participated in the festival. under the patronage of businessman Bandar bin Salem Babgi, with the presence of His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Jazan.

The festival showcased various cultural and artistic events for the local, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of camels and their deep-rootedness in Arabian Peninsula heritage. Participants in Muhālib Al-‘ibl competed for the first time among more than 20 participants from different regions of the Kingdom to measure which camels produce the best milking or dairy camels, in honor of the value of their milk., which has always been an essential part of the dietary values of the Arabian Peninsula inhabitants. Various breeds of camels, including the Awadi, Aurak, and coastal camels known for producing large quantities of milk, competed for financial prizes. The first-place winner received 20,000 Saudi riyals, followed by 15,000 for the second place, and 10,000 for the last place.

The festival also witnessed activities organized by Motors Gate, showcasing a range of pickup trucks including Maxus T90, T70, the new version of D90 Max SUV, and the powerful BAIC BJ40. Visitors had the opportunity to closely inspect the vehicles and even test drive them during the festival, which attracted significant interest from visitors to sMuhālib Al-‘ibl festival.
